About The Project
Every great build starts with a vision, and this one began with a brand-new CRF300L Rally sitting in the shop - untouched, clean, and practically asking for something more. We wanted to create a machine that captured what makes Honda so iconic: precision, durability, and a level of style that feels effortless.
The first step was taking the bike apart, revealing the structure that carries Honda's reputation around the world. From there, it was a slow, intentional climb toward something better. Piece by piece, the CRF300L Rally transformed. You could see it in the way the stance settled, the way the upgraded components blended in as if they were always meant to be there, the way the bike started to look like it had a story before it even hit the dirt.
There was this moment midway through the build - when the major parts were on but the finishing touches weren't even close - where the CRF300L Rally already looked incredible. You could walk past it and feel the purpose behind it. It had that unmistakable Honda presence, the kind that makes people stop and look twice without ever being loud or asking for attention.
By the time the final part was installed, the bike didn’t look modified. It looked factory-evolved. Like a concept build Honda might reveal at a world premiere - rugged, refined, and ready for anything. The kind of bike you immediately picture packed for a trip, tearing down a trail, or staged perfectly in a sunset photo with dust hanging in the air.
This build isn’t just sweet - it’s a reminder of why people choose Honda. Because when you start with a platform this good, the possibilities are infinite.

Departure.
The journey began at Honda Canada Headquarters in Toronto. A bare CRF300L Rally frame was loaded up and sent straight to Gopher Dunes.

Arrival.
The frame rolled into the shop untouched and stripped to the basics. No plastics. No components. Just the raw skeleton of a future build.

Breakdown.
Even starting from a frame, everything was inspected, removed, cleaned, and reset. A true ground-zero build from the inside out.

Graphic Direction.
No digital mockups. Just marker, paper, and hand-drawn concepts. The vision was sketched first, then passed to LimeNine to dial it in.

When the route gets longer, fuel range matters. Camel Tank installed and ready to push this build further.
